Yes, you guessed rightfour years ago we were freezing in Chicago, two years ago we were even
freezing in Houston, but this December, we are inviting Knanaya youth from all over the country to
attend the third KCYLNA Youth Summit in Tampa, Florida!

The event will take place in Fruitland Park, FL about 90 miles north of Tampa at the Life
Enrichment Conference Center. We have planned a 4-day, 3-night Summit, full of activities, games, and workshops meant to strengthen each individual and provide the encouragement needed to become
successful and responsible young adults in the world that awaits us. Like the last Summit, we hope to
provide something educational, spiritual, meaningful and most of all FUN. We want our youth to leave
feeling full of pride and joy for who they areKNANAYAthe future of our community.

Enclosed in this registration packet, we have included the registration form for the December
gathering. The cost per person is $250 by Oct. 15th, 2009; this includes the fees for the conference facility including room, board, and food. Early registration deadline for a $25 discount is Sept. 30th. Late
registration is due by November 15th, 2009. There will be a $25 late fee added to the normal $250
registration. The Summit will allow for a maximum of 150 participants and due to the limited number of participants registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration will occur through each local
unit, therefore it is required that each registrant be a member of their local unit. Transportation from the
airport to the Knanaya Community Center in Tampa will be provided for those arriving at Tampa
International Airport by 10:00AM on December 27. Every participant will be expected to be at Tampa
Knanaya Community Center by 11AM, and we will altogether travel to the retreat center promptly at
12:30PM. Upon arriving at the retreat center, each participant will be given check-in packets and room
keys, which they will be responsible for throughout the Summit. On Wednesday, December 30, 2009,
we hope to be back at the community center by 4:00 PM, so we expect you book your flights home
accordingly.

We want every participant to have a wonderful time, but keep in mind; rules and regulations will be strictly
enforced. The consumption and/or possession of alcohol, cigarettes and drugs will be seen as a serious
offense and will not be tolerated. Violation of these rules will result in immediate removal from the
Summit. Each young adult chaperone will be responsible for 15 participants and adult chaperones will
be present throughout the span of the entire event.
